David P. Everson,

was born June 30, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Billie and Mildred Everson. He attended West Virginia public schools and graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1971. Brother Everson graduated from Shepherd College with a BS degree in Biology and General Science in 1975. He pursued graduate studies at West Virginia University and other colleges.

Mr. Everson has worked at the IRS Martinsburg National Computer Center, as Bio-Medical Photographer at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and for 21 years has taught at Philip Barbour High School (teaching Biology, Human Anatomy, Geology, Oceanography, Advance Placement Biology, Integrated Science 10, Fairmont State College 101 and 102. His public speaking experience includes Intercollegiate Public Speaking competition, preaching for various churches of Christ, teaching Christian Evidences workshops and youth rallies, and teaching at West Virginia Christian Youth Camp. David Everson serves on the Board of Directors for West Virginia Christian Youth Camp and further serves as a staff member of the same camp for four weeks each summer. He is a staff writer for the West Virginia Christian and author of the program Anchoring Your Faith In Evidence. Brother Everson also takes very soberly and seriously his role as one of the elders for the Belington, West Virginia church of Christ, in which capacity he has served since 1996.

David P. Everson and Norma Jean Regester married in 1976. She is a 1975 graduate of Ohio Valley College and a 1993 graduate of Fairmont State College with a degree in Elementary Education. They have one son, Brian David, born January 15, 1983.
